“What must Russia do with Ukraine?” - A Russian blueprint for genocide

by PEREKHODA Hanna

A major Russian newsagency has published an article that explicitly calls for an ethnic cleansing of the Ukrainian population, reports Hanna Perekhoda. The article, by Timofei Sergeitsev was read 500,000 times in the first few hours after publication by RIA-NOVOSTI.

1. About the name ’Ukraine’:

The name “Ukraine” can not be retained as the title of any fully denazified state entity in the territory liberated from the Nazi regime.

2. About ethnical cleansing.

Anyone who resists should be killed: The Nazis who took up arms must be destroyed as much as possible on the battlefield. There should be no significant difference in treatment of the Ukrainian army and the so-called national battalions, as well as the territorial defense that joined these two types of military formations.

In addition to the elite, a significant part of the masses, who are passive Nazis, accomplices of Nazism, are also to blame. They supported and indulged the Nazi government. A just punishment of this part of the population is possible, and must be recognised as the inevitable burden of the just war against the Nazi system, a war which is being waged as carefully and prudently as possible with regard to civilians.

3. About the possibility of a peace deal:

In fact, the political aspirations can not be neutral - the redemption of [Ukrainian] guilt towards Russia for treating it as an enemy can be realized only in reliance on Russia in the process of reconstruction, revival and development. No “Marshall plan” for these territories can be allowed. There can be no “neutrality” in the ideological and practical sense, that would not be compatible with denazification. Therefore, denazification cannot be compromised, based on a formula such as “No to NATO — yes to the EU.”

4. About the future of the occupied territories:

Further denazification of the mass of the population consists of re-education, which will be achieved by ideological repression (suppression) of Nazi attitudes, as well as strict censorship, not only in the political sphere, but also in the sphere of culture and education.

It was through culture and education that a profound mass national radicalisation of the population was prepared and carried out, wrapped in the promise of dividends from the Nazi regime’s victory over Russia, Nazi propaganda, internal violence and terror, and the eight-year war with the Donbass people.

Denazification can only be carried out by the victor, which implies (1) his unconditional control over the denazification process and (2) the power that ensures such control. In this respect, a denazified country cannot be sovereign.

The period of denazification cannot be less than one generation, which must be born, raised and reach maturity in the conditions of denazification. The national radicalisation of Ukraine has lasted for more than 30 years, at least since 1989, when Ukrainian nationalism gained legal and legitimate forms of political self-expression and led a movement for “independence” toward Nazism.
